We decided to replace our sleigh bed because it took up too much room. This headboard is a beautiful shade of deep blue, but not navy. It’s a nice focal point in the room, while giving us nearly two feet more space at the foot of the bed. And it attached easily to our metal bed frame.I think this looks great, but I have a standard king size bed. The headboard and the bed frame holes didn't line up. I had to make a block that allowed me to attach them together ( you can see this from above in my second picture). I'd say they're off by half an inch.The headboard is easy to assemble, but it requires some tools and motivation to attach it to the frame. This required a lot of measuring, some drilling, some countersinking of the drill holes and despite what the item description says, there's no hardware to attach the headboard even if it lined up with the holes. You're going to the hardware store.I question two things in the design of this product: 1. a low grade particle board is what the supports that run down and attach to the bed frame are made with, as well as the horizontal support that runs from one side to the other; and 2. they use alan bolts to hold the headboard together.So, I'm wondering how this will hold up. The particle board seems very low quality, but since the headboard is pinned between the bed and the wall, it may make no difference at all. If it were free standing, I'd bet the minute an adult weighing over 180 pounds really leaned against it, the support would be minimal and it might break.Alan wrench head bolts seem to have their place on bikes, but I would have used something with a phillips head. To be clear, they provide you with an alan wrench, but if you're assembling this by hand, expect an additional 30 minutes.Overall, I give it 3 stars, because it looks great, but their design for my standard king size bed frame is flawed and they don't provide the hardware needed to attach it to the bedframe, despite claiming they do.When I opened the box all the bolts and washers had just been thrown in the box. Missing 3 washers necessary for assembly. Luckily I had some that worked in my workbench. Staples had pulled out of batting on the back and had to be stapled back. There is no bracket to secure headboard to bedframe. I used 24" twist ties to secure to bedframe legs. I gave it 5 stars for the value. It looks much more expensive.I got this headboard with expectations that it would be decent quality for the price. I purchased the grey one and the color looks great. The material is soft and the headboard is sturdy, this definitely will last for a while.Gorgeous headboard even more beautiful in person. Perfect for redoing our pre teen granddaughters room.Super nice and very happy. One of holes was drilled out crooked so we were not able to install one of the bolts and one of the washers didn't have the hole drilled out all the way. Overall, love it.Very nice headboard but color in pic is misleading. Description says taupe but pic is MUCH lightener than the actual headboard. It is a true taupe, I don’t dislike it but quite surprised when it arrived. Also more of a suede/micro fiber definitely NOT velvet like the description says. All that said, I am keeping it, it’s very nice but product description should be changed.Beautiful piece that gives glam to a room. I would give 5 stars if the height of the headboard was a bit taller. I had to improvise so that it didn't look like a headboard for a child's bed.
