Took me 3hrs to assemble (no assembling experience and alone). Had it for a month and good so far. Will have to purchase a box spring.I put the bed together great but I put my box spring on the new bed than put my mattress on the box springs my mattress hangs over. So I tried it without box springs and put just my mattress and my mattress sunk in. So have to get a new bed and will give this to my kids. I guess my mattress is to big for the bedIt’s sturdy but not at all a platform bed frame. I will need to purchase a box spring for my mattress.Bought on prime day, so very happy with what we got for the price!! This picture was taken before we put everything else on the bed, but it gives a good idea of the color… definitely grey but has significant brown undertones. Easy to put together- only needed an extra set of hands to hold the head board while I screwed it inMy son loves this bed, but a standard size box spring & mattress don’t fit under the headboard. The mattress hung a few inches over the edge of the bed. I needed to buy bunkie board for under the mattress instead of using a box springGreat productI bought this bed for my teenage son. He really likes the looks of it. It fits with his industrial theme he's going for. I put it together on my own in about 30 minutes. And it's sturdy. One thing I did not think of was there's only 1 support bar in the center. We don't have a box spring so we put a piece of plywood down to keep the bed from sagging. There's no side railing so wooden slats across the bed won't work either. Only options are box spring or plywood so consider that before purchasing.There is only 10’ between the bottom of the headboard and the slates where you put the box spring. Not enough room for a box spring and a good mattress. As you can see in the pictures, it looks terrible and leaves me in a spot of trying to figure out what to do. 10’ is just not enough room for a box spring and mattress.First of all, this bed has only THREE bars for the mattress. I've bought and assembled many beds, this one is by far the strangest. Three bars for the mattress means you must get a box spring. Because if you put a mattress on the three bars, the mattress will fold and you will sink into the ground.Second of all, if you have a "normal" sized mattress you have to measure the clearance for what size mattress can fit. We bought a regular sized box spring but the regular sized mattress would not fit and it would sit several inches longer at the top. Because the boxspring and mattress must fit UNDER the headboard.Thirdly, the base of the bed is way too big for a standard size twin mattress / box spring. There is about a 2-3 inch gap on either sides of the mattress. So the box of the bed is both too wide and the length of the bed is too short. Whoever designed this thing gets a failing mark.The assembly process is pretty middle of the road, however, the hardware is decent.I ordered two beds, for the same price. Zinus had sturdier Metal bed frame AND slats to hold the mattress and this one has NO slats and half smaller frame. I would not buy again this bed or brand of bedsI ordered this bed frame a couple months ago and it came with missing pieces for the headboard the things that make it touch the floor And it also was missing holes to attach the head board to the bed frame it’s self so my head board is just not attached and the posts that hold your box spring and mattress up bent as soon as I layed down this product is not worth the money find a better one more sturdy!:(The bed frame was easy to assemble and instructions were basic but not tricky. Not sure yet about the sturdiness. Time will tell but the quality matches the price.Easy to assemble but huge flaw!!!! Mattress over hangs and moves around!!!!
